11 December 2024 : In line with the provisions of BCSR 2023, Chapter 9, Section 9.13 on Civil Service Awards, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport organized the Civil Service Award Ceremony on the auspicious occasion of 11th December 2024 (11th Day of the 10th Bhutanese Month) at the Ministry’s Conference Hall.
The award ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Secretary, Dasho Phuntsho Tobgay, and attended by Department Heads. The event began with the lighting of butter lamps and offering of Marchang.
The awards were conferred to eligible civil servants under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to recognize and honor their dedicated service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum. A total of 25 recipients were awarded medals in four categories:
- 10 Years of Service: 10 recipients were awarded the Bronze Medal and Certificate.
- 20 Years of Service: 08 recipients were awarded the Silver Medal and Certificate.
- 30 Years of Service: 04 recipients were awarded the Gold Medal and Certificate.
- Lifetime Service: 03 recipients were awarded the Gold Medal and Certificate.
