The Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport (MoIT) conducted an induction programme for the 63 new recruits who were appointed from 1st January, 2025. This diverse group comprises:
- 2 with the Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA);
- 5 officials with the Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority (BCTA);
- 7 with the Department of Human Settlement (DHS);
- 2 officials with the Department of Air Transport (DoAT);
- 13 officials with the Department of Infrastructure Development (DoIT);
- 11 officials with the Department of Surface Transport (DoST);
- 3 officials placed at across various Ministries and Agencies;
- 4 officials placed across Thromdes; and
- 16 officials posted across various Dzongkhags.
To formally welcome the new members to the MoIT family, Trashi Khadar was awarded to them. The induction program covered key areas such as the Ministry’s vision, mission, and the goals of the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP). Additionally, the program emphasized on the importance of promoting and upholding the values of THA DAMTSHI and LEY JUMDREY as a civil servant.
The new employees have been deployed to various field offices upon completion of the induction programme.
